This anniversary will commemorate our shared history and we will honor the efforts of Dawson’s alumni, its members, our partners, and the families that have been a part of the center. This year will feature a series of events that will unite and strengthen our community, and inspire us all to continue forging another 50 years of history in Verdun.<br /><br /><br />~ SAVE THESE DATES ~<br /><br /><span style="font-size:130%;"><strong>May 27th, 2009 - The Launching of the 50th -</strong></span><br />An event not to be missed, the launching will kick off this historic year with food, entertainment, guest speakers and a few more surprises, this event is open to all.<br /><br /><br /><strong>Reunion Weekend<br /></strong><br /><br /><strong><span style="font-size:130%;">Saturday August 1st - Dawson Street Fest - 9-5pm<br /></span></strong>Our Street Fest celebration will take over Woodland between Bannantyne and Verdun Avenues, and will feature plenty of goodies like entertainment, kid’s games, food, and stuff for the whole family!<br /><br /><br /><div align="left"><strong><span style="font-size:130%;">Saturday August 1st - Dance - 8pm<br /></span></strong>Adults book the babysitters because we are going to P.A.R.T.Y!!! Let your hair down and dance your pants off to live music and a DJ.</div><br /><br /><strong><span style="font-size:130%;">October 23, 24, 25, 2009 - Cosom Hockey Tournament -</span></strong> <br />Get your teams ready to face off in this World Series of Hockey.
